JOB TITLE:     AIG Specialist Support Coordinator (Interim)

 

REPORTS TO:    Director of Instruction & Federal Programs

 

SALARY:     Based on State and Local Salary Schedule

 

STATUS:             10 months

 

SUMMARY:  The job AIG Specialist Support Coordinator  is established to perform a variety of professional work to address the academic, intellectual, social, and emotional needs of all gifted learners.  The AIG Coordinator holds an AIG license and is a support to teachers at the school level. The AIG Coordinator oversees the day to day operations of the AIG Program and Plan.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, speak, and listen. Occasional physical activities include using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects; reaching with hands and arms; and performing movements such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects weighing up to 15 pounds, and may be required to lift heavier items as needed.
